Who can submit work?
Any student or staff member of the University of Glasgow.
What can I submit?
We are accepting submissions of prose, poetry and drama. The word limits are as follows:
Prose: 3000 words maximum
Poetry: 40 lines maximum
Drama: 10 pages maximum (no screenplays please)
Excerpts from longer pieces may be acceptable. We can not accept work that has been previously published. Please inform us if you are also in the process of submitting your work to other publishers/magazines. We ask that you limit your submissions to one per issue.
What do I need to do to submit/how does it work?
Submissions must be in by the tenth of any given month to be considered for the next issue (or by the posted deadline for special editions). All entries must be sent from your Glasgow University email account to submissions@fromglasgowtosaturn.com. Microsoft Word is the preferable document format as it is the most universal. However, if we cannot open your attachment, we will contact you. Please include a cover page with your name. Your submission will be distributed anonymously to the reviewing editors. If you would like to include your student status (i.e. postgraduate) or a short bio, please do so. The editorial staff reserves the right to correct egregious spelling and grammatical errors. The editorial staff will review all submissions, make a final decision and notify the author(s). By submitting work you authorise us to publish it on fromglasgowtosaturn.com/fromglasgowtosaturn.co.uk.
